A Lévy Flight is a random walk in which the probability distribution of the step length is heavy-tailed. One interesting application of Lévy flights is in describing the swimming patterns of predatory fish: when certain predatory fish are searching for food, they often abandon Brownian-like motion and lean more towards a mix of long trajectories and short, random movements.
